In case you missed it, there's a special online tool to help you find your Twitter friends on Mastodon:

➡️ fedifinder.glitch.me

Fedifinder was created by @luca

(If you're wondering why it asks for authorisation, it's explained in the previous thread about this at social.luca.run/@luca/11076887…)

- I'm still using the API. Because each user auth has it's own rate limit, this allows fedifinder to get the data fresh and instantly.
- By authorizing people can use it with a private account, where the following list is not public.
- It prevents people from getting data for any account instead of just their own.

Is there a script without authorization and just for specified usernames, not all friendslist?

This would be SUPER useful, if Twitter hadn't locked me out of my main account. Grateful for the tool, and sharing, even though it won't help me right now.

I thought that tool doesn't work anymore with Twitter locking down its API's. If it does work, that's great.

Yes, it does still work! For some reason the API lockdown didn't affect it.

when I click "authorize" it always gives me an error. not sure if that's a "time of night" thing, a firefox thing, or maybe a thing with this addon I got that turns X into old twitter
